Tyson's Baptism

Today was an AMAZING day! I can hardly believe that our oldest boy is old enough to be baptized. Tyson has been excited for months to become a sustained member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As his baptism date has gotten closer he has been learning more and more about receiving the Holy Ghost and making covenants with his Heavenly Father. We are so proud of Tyson for the decisions that he makes and are blessed to be his parents.

Tyson was baptized in Glenwood Springs CO on August 3rd by his dad. He was confirmed by his Dad, Pops, & Uncle Cody.

We are so glad that Pops & Yamma, Aunt Paige & Uncle Cody, Maeley & Ayhlah were able to be here for Tyson's big day!

Tyson I want you to know that you are an amazing example to your little brothers and sister as well as everyone else around you including Dad & I. We love you so much and hope that you will always know that.

My Amazing Faithful Boy

I am so blessed to have such amazing kids and tonight I was shown that again. Tyson woke up not feeling well this morning having pain in a certain area. After a few hours of the pain not going away I decided to take him to Primary Children's. Once there the doctors came to examine him which caused a lot of pain. It is so hard to see my kids in pain and yet I am so glad that I can be with them to try and lessen it the best I can. After they had finished the exam it was determined he would need an ultrasound which got him very scared and upset.

As we were waiting to have him taken to ultrasound Tyson asked me to say a prayer, so I humbly did as my sweet son asked. Tyson cried the entire way to ultrasound and then became combative and crying out of control because he was so scared and did not want to be touched again. The nurse had to give him medication to calm him down so that the procedure could be complete.

 

Once we were back at the room Tyson was pretty loopy and a commercial came on about hero's. After the commercial was over he said "mom, do you know who my hero is?" I said no and that is when he pointed up. I waited for a minute and he said, "Heavenly Father is my hero." He then went on to tell me that he helped take the pain away without

needing to have surgery. Before I could say anything he folded his arms and said the sweetest little prayer. He thanked his Heavenly Father for taking the pain away and said

that he hoped he didn't have to come here again but if he did he

 knew that his pain would be taken away again.

 

I am simply amazed at the strength my 7-year-old boy can have and also that he knows

Heavenly Father is there for him whenever he needs him.

Tyson is such a great example to me and I am so grateful that I am his mother. 

Lego Master

Tyson's First Day of Kindergarten

Tyson's first day of Kindergarten was great. He met his teacher Mrs. Quist

and got to check out his classroom.

Happy Birthday Tyson

Wow I can’t believe my little guy is 6-years-old!!! Tyson is such an amazing boy and I am so grateful that he is a part of our family. We started celebrating his birthday on the 11th since Dad had a meeting on the 12th. As we were driving to “the surprise” Steve told Tyson that we were going to the dentist and then we pulled into,

Hollywood Connection

Tyson was really excited to start playing on everything. I would say that bumper cars and mini golf were his favorite activity.

Tysons least favorite would have to be the hot air balloon ride. Parker & I enjoyed it though, and went on it at least 6 times.

My favorite thing to watch was when he was riding the carousel and did not realize that I was videoing him. He was making all kinds of faces in the mirror at himself it was great.

After hours of fun on the rides we went to Cars 2 in 3D ohhhhhhh yeah!

Birthday Day

Tyson was born on July 12, 2005 on a record day in St. George…..118 degrees.

He was 8lbs 9oz and now weighs a whopping 52lbs going into Kindergarten. Tyson loves to ride his bike with friends, play with Legos, matchbox cars, and really anything that uses his imagination. Tyson is friendly to everyone he meets, everywhere we go he always makes new friends. Tyson is an amazing big brother and is willing to help when needed.
