Wow I can’t believe my little guy is 6-years-old!!! Tyson is such an amazing boy and I am so grateful that he is a part of our family. We started celebrating his birthday on the 11th since Dad had a meeting on the 12th. As we were driving to “the surprise” Steve told Tyson that we were going to the dentist and then we pulled into,

Hollywood Connection

Tyson was really excited to start playing on everything. I would say that bumper cars and mini golf were his favorite activity.

Tysons least favorite would have to be the hot air balloon ride. Parker & I enjoyed it though, and went on it at least 6 times.

My favorite thing to watch was when he was riding the carousel and did not realize that I was videoing him. He was making all kinds of faces in the mirror at himself it was great.

After hours of fun on the rides we went to Cars 2 in 3D ohhhhhhh yeah!

Birthday Day

Tyson was born on July 12, 2005 on a record day in St. George…..118 degrees.

He was 8lbs 9oz and now weighs a whopping 52lbs going into Kindergarten. Tyson loves to ride his bike with friends, play with Legos, matchbox cars, and really anything that uses his imagination. Tyson is friendly to everyone he meets, everywhere we go he always makes new friends. Tyson is an amazing big brother and is willing to help when needed.

Celebration Times 3!!!

I Love Sundays because it is a day that I can spend with my family just relaxing without any other worries. This Sunday was spent at Pops, & Yammas celebrating Birthdays for Yamma, Uncle Casey, & Tyson.

For as far back as I can remember, Grandma Johnson would always make an angel food cake with sticky pink frosting for my moms birthday. I have tried for several years to find the frosting that she used with no luck, until this year! I came across a really old Kraft marshmallow recipe book and in it I found a marshmallow frosting that tastes just like I remembered. With this new found information I decided to make a Angel food cake from scratch with pink sticky frosting. I must say I was very pleased with how it turned out.

 

After church we headed down to Pops, & Yammas.

Tyson decided that they all needed Birthday crowns and so he made them, they turned out GREAT! While he was making the crowns Chloe kept getting into everything he was doing and this was his solution, I am just glad that the trash had just been changed.

Happy Birthday Pop’s! I am so glad we were able to go down and spend the day with my Dad to celebrate his Birthday. I am so blessed to have such an amazing father. Dad you have always been a Great example to me, thank you for all the things you have taught me throughout the years (and put up with)!
