We started the day out at Home Depot for the Kids Workshop.

Then after lunch we headed to Liberty Park. Last month we found out about the 7 canyons at Liberty Park (a splash park) which is a representation of the canyons of the Wasatch Mountains.

Fun Filled Saturday

So when I remember it is the first Saturday of the month we head off to Home Depot for the kids workshop. Usually Steve is with us but he was working so we headed off on our own.

Tyson is getting really good at hammering and following directions for the projects. Parker loves to start his project and will hammer the first nail and then he wants Dad or me in this case to finish it for him.

Along with their project they receive a pin to attach to their cool Home Depot apron with their name on it.

Next we went to the Safety Fair in the Maceys parking lot.

Enjoying cotton candy, popcorn, hotdogs, root beer & cinnamon rolls.

After lunch we headed to the pool. Our Kids are little fish and if they have the opportunity to play in any water they will.

Home Depot Project Day

Today's project was to build a football holder. I have to admit I was really confused as to what a football holder was. At first I thought it was a stool shaped like a football and then I was thinking they meant a tee to kick from and that just did not make any sense because you would not be able to kick off of it.
Finally the lights turned on in my head(only because it was explained to me with a football being placed on it by my 2 year old), it is holder to display a football on.

Monthly Home Depot Project

My boys love the free kid workshops at Home Depot. This month they built these awesome supply holders that look like a school bus. If you have never taken your kids it is the first Saturday of each month I think from 9-12. I know that some of the Home Depots require you to sign up at the store before the workshop, so check yours out and see.
