So the original plan was to leave bright & early Tuesday morning but the houseboat became available so we left Monday night around 8pm. I must say that driving through the night was much nicer than I expected. The potty breaks were few and far between, stopping for stretching a few times and we made it in a little over 6 hours.
When we arrived around 2am the kids had to be woken up to put on life jackets to enjoy their ride to the houseboat in the cart. Chloe was not to happy but got over it quickly.
After going back to sleep for a few hours the fun begins. The boys LOVE to drive the houseboat! Pops is in his Happy Place, Lake Powell with the Grand kids what more could one ask for!?
As always the perfect spot is found, this time on a rock which was amazing because we did not have to clear out stickers to play near the houseboat, and we did not need a bucket to clean feet off before going inside!
