Our stake was asked to be in the Days of 47 Children's Parade and we were to represent The Benson Grist Mill. All the kids were dressed as flour sacks and the adults were dressed in pioneer clothing. The boys loved walking down the street waving at the people along the parade route. Trying to get on TV was their goal but it was Chloe that made it on Channel 2 and I was interviewed on Channel 5.
After all the festivities we had lunch at Subway and I came out with 2 Green Lanterns.
