Airport at 5:30 AM
Seal Beach is always the first beach that we go to. I love that the walk from the parking lot is not that far, since I feel like a Sherpa with all the stuff I am packing. I also love how gentle the waves are (on the right side of the pier.)
One of Parkers favorite things to do at the beach is dig and play with the buckets. When I asked him what he was making he said, “soup.”
Soup Ingredients
2 cups of carrots
2 cups oil
2 cups water
Sparkly Sand
YUMMY!
You know it has been a Great day at the beach when you look like this.
The next day we were off the what my kids call “sand park.”
One of Parkers Happy places, Swings.
The boys love to run up and down this hill.
Huntington Beach
This is Tyson’s favorite beach because it has BIG WAVES!
New Best Friends, at least for today.
Our tradition on the last day at the beach is to get an ice-cream at Zacks.
One of my favorite houses on the way to the beach.
Taking the late flight home.
The only one awake, at least in the beginning.
All the kids asleep
Tyson did not want to wake up.
This is 5 minutes into our drive home.
Oooh, I'm with Tyson. Huntington Beach ALL THE WAY! I <3 breakfast at Ruby's. Inevitably, when we're lucky enough to get seated upstairs, the dolphins put on a show for us. I could sit there all day long just watching the ocean.
