Halloween to Christmas Recap

One of my goals for the New Year is to be better at blogging because so far I have been quite lame. Here is a recap of the last two months.
Halloween was great this year Parker got the hand-me-down chicken costume from his brother and Tyson wanted to be a train so with a diaper box, spray paint and a little creativity I came up with a box car. Tyson Loved it so that is all that matters.
Every year the Saturday after Thanksgiving my moms side of the family cuts down Christmas trees and it is such a fun time. This year just my family cut down a total of 8 trees and they were some good ones!!
This year while Cory & Jill were in town we all took traxs to Temple Square and had a great time together as we always do.
Santa was in town at the old Villa Theater for those of you Springvillites. Tyson had to take his Buzz Lightyear which at the time was calling Turbo Man (watch Jingle All The Way to know who Turbo Man is). Of all the things that a 3 year old could ask for Tyson asked for a SPOON!! Parker just starred in amazement, at least I think that is what his look was saying. Colton didn't want anything to do with Santa.
This Year with everything that is going on in our life we spent Christmas Eve at Papa & Grammys house(Steve's Mom & Dads). Grammy made the boys adorable matching PJ's, Tyson put a carrot out for the reindeer and I think 6 different cookies and juice for Santa to enjoy. Christmas morning was great. Santa brought Tyson an airplane (no spoon but I think he forgot about that request). Parker got a fun ball truck. We stayed for Christmas lunch and then me and the boys headed back to Springville where Santa had also stopped. Santa brought Tyson and Parker a Blue Table and Green Chairs!! I must admit I never thought that a table and chairs could bring so much excitement to a 3 year old boy. We then went over to Pops & Yammas house to open a few more presents and talk to Uncle Clay in Peru serving a mission for the
LDS Church. We had a Wonderful Christmas!!
Tyson one morning was being really quite which most of the time is not good. When I found him he was wearing the chicken costume which is a size 6 month. Parker seems to think he can do anything he wants including climb into baskets. To finish out the year Pops love to remove snow from the neighborhood and while working hard (playing) got high centered in my driveway and we had to call Yamma to the rescue and pull him out (for the second time that morning)
I hope that you have all had a wonderful year and I wish all the best for 2009!!!

  1. Great pictures. Your boys are adorable. I especially loved the chicken costume pictures. We have a chicken costume - Carson will probably get to wear it next Halloween. I'm impressed with the train you guys made - very creative!! Glad you had a good holiday. It's fun to see what you're doing!
